Associate pastors may find these offerings regarding missions/outreach; religious education; pastoral care, care-giving, and self-care; children, youth, young adults; worship; scriptures; and spirituality of particular interest (please see a table displaying these particular online offerings below).
An Associate Pastor is the primary support person for the Senior Pastor in the performance of his/her duties. S/he is responsible for providing support to the senior pastor in worship and other pastoral acts (weddings, baptisms, funerals). An associate pastor may lead one or more specific programs of the church ministry (evangelism, youth and family, discipleship, Christian education, pastoral care, etc.).
